In this video we can see how to change the battery of a Yamaha X-Max scooter: the battery we need for replacement, which we can easily get at any supermarket or electronics store, is a common CR2032, which costs a few euros. We can see that in the body of the remote control there is a small indentation, and we can pry it open with a small screwdriver (which we recommend instead of the knife shown by the youtuber).

Opening it, we see that on one side we have the electronics, while on the other we have our battery. Let's remove it from its housing and replace it with the new one, paying attention to the polarity.

Then we close the remote control, and it's done.
