Learn how to remove the battery from a Yamaha X-Max: it is located in the front shield, so you will need to remove the screws found at the back of the shield, at the top, using an Allen key. Once the two screws are removed, simply pull the shield towards you to expose the battery; disconnect the black negative terminal first, then the red positive terminal, and finally extract the battery by removing the elastic that holds it in place.

The YouTuber does not change the battery but charges it using a specific device.

These devices can be easily found online, starting from less than twenty pounds. Leave the battery charging overnight and then refit it by following the reverse procedure of the disassembly.
