The oil change on the Yamaha Xmax 300 can be done by loosening the drain plug located on the lower left side of the motorcycle, next to the stand. By unscrewing the plug, it will be possible to drain the used oil into a properly positioned container. Once the oil has completely drained, the plug should be closed and the screws securing the casing containing the oil filter, located just above, should be loosened. After the oil filter has been replaced, the new oil can be inserted through the hole in the casing located above the drain.
