Today, replace the pads on your R1. First, purchase the replacement online or from a dealer. Ensure it is compatible with your caliper model. In the market, besides different brands, you will find various types; differentiated for use: track, street-track, or just street. The main difference is that track pads can endure more stress but only start working well after they have warmed up sufficiently. In contrast, street pads work immediately but lose braking power when too hot. Move to the caliper and remove the retaining clips. Next, pull out the pin and the worn pads. Return the caliper pistons to their starting position. Insert the new replacements and reassemble everything. Now repeat on the other caliper.
