To replace the front brake pads on a Yamaha R1, completely remove the clip that secures the pin inside the caliper, which holds the pads in place. Once the clip is removed, you can also pull out the pin, allowing the pads to be extracted through the hole at the back of the caliper. You can then insert the new pads through the same hole, securing them with the pin and the corresponding clip. After installation, check that everything functions correctly and that the brake is operational.
