How do you remove the air filter leading to the engine on a Yamaha Xmax 125? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement or cleaning. Position the scooter on the centre stand, and using a screwdriver, unscrew the perimeter screws that secure the air filter container (left side above the casing). After removing the securing screws from the container, uncover the cap and remove the air filter. Install a new one if damaged, or reposition the same filter after cleaning it (blow with air). Finally, close the air filter container and tighten the screws on the sides with the screwdriver.
