Descriptive guide for replacing the engine oil, oil filter of a Yamaha XJ600 Diversion. Get 4LT of Motul 5100 sae 10w40 oil, HIFLO HF303 oil filter. Place the motorcycle on the central stand. Start the engine, allow the engine to reach temperature and stop. Place a container for the recovery of the oil to be disposed of under the engine. Unscrew the oil drain plug located under the engine, front part, with a ratchet and a 17mm socket. Let the oil drain and carefully clean the cap. Unscrew the oil filter located in front of the engine, between the exhaust manifolds, with a band wrench. First screw with your hands and then tighten one turn with the band wrench. Screw in the oil drain plug. Open the oil filler neck located on the right side crankcase. Pour the oil referring to the inspection hole located at the bottom of the crankcase. Start the engine for a minute and turn it off. Check the oil level again.

How do you change the Piaggio MP3 engine oil?

The Piaggio MP3 engine oil change is carried out by unscrewing the oil drain plug which is positioned in the lower part of the bike, immediately in front of the rear wheel. Once the cap has been opened, it will be possible to let the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug there will be the oil filter, which must be extracted from its seat and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, it will also be possible to close the drain plug and top up from the special vent.
