Do we want to change the engine oil on a Yamaha Xj6 motorcycle? Let's see the replacement of oil and filter. We keep the bike on the central stand and unscrew the pin of the drain pin. We drain all the oil in a container for disposal that we will do later. Remove the cartridge filter placed on the side of the engine and replace it with a new one. We unscrew the filler cap and top up the engine with new engine oil. At the end of the maintenance, we measure the oil level in the engine with the dipstick. We test the functioning of the engine in all its parts.

How do you reset the Service warning light on the Aprilia Shiver 750?

In order to reset the Aprilia Shiver Service warning light, the instrument panel must be turned on, so that the menu can be accessed: by moving the controls to the right of the steering wheel, it will be possible to select the "Diagnostics" item. Then you will have to enter the code 12390 to access the Diagnostics menu: at this point, by selecting "Coupons reset" a confirmation screen will appear. By selecting "Yes" it will be possible to reset the maintenance intervals; once this operation has been completed, it will be possible to switch the ignition off and on again to check it.
