Engine oil and oil filter replacement for a Yamaha Virago 250cc. Position the bike on the side stand. Place a container for disposing of the oil under the engine. Using a ratchet and a 17mm socket, unscrew the drain plug located under the engine on the left side. On the right side of the engine casing, there is a cover with the Yamaha logo. Unscrew the cover using a 4mm Allen key. Remove the old cartridge and replace it with a new one (HIFLO HF145). Open the oil filler cap and pour in the oil (2 litres of Mobil1 20w50) according to the inspection hole.
