Replacing the remote control battery for the Yamaha X-Max

Here’s how to change the battery in a Yamaha X-Max remote control: it uses a common CR 2032 button battery, available at any electronics store or supermarket. You will only need a small screwdriver to pry open the side slot at the bottom of the casing, allowing the two halves to separate.

Once opened, the battery will be visible, and a slight lever will be needed to remove it from its housing. Insert the new battery, ensuring correct polarity, close the two halves of the casing, and press until you hear a click.
