To replace the steering bearings on a Yamaha WR450F, first detach the front brake caliper from the disc and remove the front wheel from the forks. Next, remove the front mudguard and the plastic part of the bike's nose. It is also advisable to remove the steering nut for easier access: this will allow you to take off the actual steering after sliding out the forks. At this point, the bearing will be visible and can be extracted and replaced: before inserting the new bearings, it is recommended to lubricate their housing.
