Before you can start, position your Yamaha FZ6 upright. Begin by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the tank, then lift the front of the tank and disconnect the relevant electrical connectors and hoses. Next, you will need to remove the tank itself. By doing this, you will reach the air filter cover, which you will need to remove by unscrewing the relevant fixing screws. Proceed to unclip and remove the air filter from its housing. Once you have completed this step, you will have finished the removal. To install the new air filter, simply follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
