To replace the air filter on the Yamaha FJR 1300, you need to loosen the screws that secure the seat so that it can be completely removed. After removing the seat, loosen the screws that secure the left side panel of the bike, just below the seat: this will allow access to the underlying components.

Therefore, unscrew the screws that secure the filter box cover, removing it from inside. Once the new filter has been inserted, you can reassemble all the components that were removed earlier.
