How to change the engine oil of the Yamaha MT-10?

To be able to change the engine oil of the Yamaha MT-10 you have to unscrew the oil tank drain plug, which is located in the lower central part of the bike; it will be necessary to collect all the used engine oil in a suitably positioned container. Then on the left side of the vehicle, it will be possible to locate the oil filter, unscrewing it and replacing it with a new one. When the oil filter has also been removed, it will be possible to fill in the new oil from the vent located on the right side of the bike; finally you will have to turn on the vehicle to verify that everything is working.

How to change the engine oil of Derbi Fds

Let's find out below the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Derbi Fds. First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
