In this brief and simple guide, see how to dismantle and replace the belt and rollers of the variator on the Yamaha Xmax 250 scooter. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and start unscrewing the screws of the transmission cover to remove it; then unscrew the nut of the fan and subsequently that of the clutch bell, removing the belt as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the variator and replace the rollers inside, following the video tutorial to the end!
