To change the engine oil on the Yamaha Virago, loosen the drain plug located at the bottom of the bike. Once this plug is removed, collect all the used oil in a container placed appropriately under the drain hole. After closing the drain, remove the small cover on the right side of the bike to take out the old oil filter and replace it with a new one. After replacing the filter, pour in the new oil through the designated hole on the cover to the left of the bike.
