In this tutorial, you will learn how to change the engine oil in a Yamaha R7, a very simple operation to be performed every 12 months. First, wait until the engine is completely cold. Then, using a 4mm hex key, unscrew the fixing screws of the lower left fairing. Once removed, unscrew the drain bolt with a 17mm socket, allowing all the oil in the system to drain out, and unscrew the filter located just above it. At this point, you can reinsert the bolt, install the replacement filter, and add new oil through the upper hole.
