In this tutorial, you will see how to change the engine oil in a Yamaha FZ1, a very simple and quick operation to perform every 12 months. First, wait until the engine is sufficiently cool, then remove the lower fairing by unscrewing the relevant fixing bolts. Next, position a container beneath the engine, unscrew the drain bolt with a 17mm socket, and allow all the oil in the system to drain out. Finally, remove the filter using pliers, fit the replacement, and reassemble everything. At this point, simply pour in the new oil through the designated hole.
