How to Replace the Air Filter on a Yamaha XVS 1100

To replace the air filter on a Yamaha XVS 1100, loosen the bolts securing the filter protection cover, located on the right side of the bike and shaped like a circular chrome cover. Once all bolts are loosened, remove the cover and pull out the underlying air filter by detaching the securing clips.

You can then install the new air filter, ensuring it is securely fastened in place; finally, cover it again by reinstalling the corresponding cover.
