Model: Yamaha Tmax 500
To reset the oil light on a Yamaha Tmax 500, turn on the ignition by rotating the key in the ignition switch. Once the instrument cluster is on, press and hold the RESET button located on the left side of the instrument cluster, below the speedometer. While holding this button, you will notice the oil light start to flash. After a few seconds, the light will reset, allowing you to release the button and turn off the instrument cluster.
