This tutorial shows how to reset the drive belt service on a Yamaha TMAX 500 scooter, a very simple and quick operation to perform only after completing the required scheduled maintenance. Start by removing the lower right fairing, then locate the indicated white connector and set it aside.

Next, insert the key, turn on the instrument panel, and disconnect the connector for at least 10 seconds. Finally, restart the panel, check that the "V-Belt" warning light has disappeared from the dashboard, and reassemble everything.
