In this video, you will see how to change the spark plug on the Yamaha XMax 250: the spark plug is located under the engine, behind the panel of the footwell. Without needing to dismantle the scooter hub, simply pull off the rubber cap, and the spark plug will be clearly visible. Using the supplied socket, attach it to the spark plug and remove it. There is enough space to work, so use your hand to loosen the spark plug and you can unscrew it quite comfortably; remove it and replace it with the new one, screwing it in by hand and then tightening it properly with the appropriate socket. Once it is securely tightened, replace the rubber cap, and the job is done, without needing to dismantle the underseat compartment and side panels.
