To change the motor oil of a Yamaha Xmax, first of all, start the engine and let it warm up for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid and facilitate drainage. Then turn off the engine and put the scooter on a center stand to stabilize it. Place a tray under the oil drain plug, which is located under the engine. Unscrew the drain plug using a proper wrench and let the used oil completely drain into the tray. Once all the oil has drained, clean the drain plug and the surrounding area to remove any oil residue. Tighten the drain plug securely. Now, find the oil fill hole located on the side of the engine. Using a funnel, slowly pour in the new oil, making sure not to exceed the capacity specified in the owner's manual. After completing the filling, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, then turn it off and check for any leaks. Finally, make sure the oil level is correct, adding more if necessary.
