The problem of misfire, especially when hot, of the Volkswagen Golf 5 is a well-known defect that can be solved very easily; the origin of the fault is to be attributed to a malfunction of the temperature sensor which sends a wrong data to the engine control unit due to which the fuel injection sequences do not allow ignition; the solution can be a simple deceiver made with a relay to be connected to the sensor so that it always sends the data to the control unit cold and therefore always guarantees correct ignition; another solution can be a map correction on the hot injection sequences.
