If when starting the engine it happens that it turns irregularly (as if it were with three cylinders), the yellow warning light in the shape of a triangle with the arrow around it lights up on the instrument panel and the fault memory of the engine management unit contains the error code P1666, the origin of the fault is to be found in the malfunction of some injector, a fairly common defect on the model in question. A repair attempt that can be tried is to tighten the connection socket of the wiring harness to the injectors a little: to perform this repair it is necessary to remove the tappet cover and precisely squeeze the electrical socket connected to each injector, without damaging the plastic. Clear the fault memory and check if the fault occurs again.
