This brief guide will show you how to disassemble and replace the coolant temperature sensor on the engine of the Volkswagen Golf 1.4 16V. First, open the vehicle's bonnet and begin to remove the plastic protective cover; then locate the sensor, which is found at the bottom of the engine block, disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the sensor to remove it, as shown in the video.

At this point, install the new original coolant temperature sensor, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!
