Model: Volkswagen Golf
MK 4, Golf IV, Golf 4
- Years 1997-2003 This short guide will show us how to disassemble and replace the engine coolant temperature sensor of the Volkswagen Golf 1.4 16V. First, we open the car's engine hood and start removing the plastic cover; then we locate our sensor, which we find at the bottom of the engine block, disconnecting the electrical connector and unscrewing the sensor to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we install the new original engine coolant temperature sensor, applying the reverse process for reassembly!
