Replace the Key Fob Battery for Acura RLX - ILX

Today, let's look at this short and simple guide on how to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for the Acura RLX, as well as the ILX. First, take your key fob and remove the physical key from inside it. Then, use something thin to pry open the sides of the fob, separating it into two parts to access the circuit board and battery, as shown in the video. Now, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); finally, reassemble the key fob!
