Do you want to proceed with a DIY battery replacement on this vehicle model? The text below provides all the instructions and the correct procedure to follow for a safe replacement. Once you access the engine compartment, the battery is located on the left side.

First, disconnect the negative terminal, then the positive terminal, and proceed to remove the support screws for the upper mounting bracket. This will allow you to extract the battery from the compartment and replace it with the new one. Then, connect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal, and finally, reattach the mounting nuts for the upper bracket.
