How to remove the alternator of the Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 JTD

In this video, we see how to remove the alternator of the Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 JTD: first, we disconnect the battery, always starting with the negative pole, then we remove the cover of the engine block, and the alternator is located at the back of the engine. We will need to remove the service belt by unscrewing the tensioner pulley; once we have removed the belt, we unscrew the screws that hold the component in place, one on one side and two on the other. The space is limited, but with some effort we manage to get in; we disconnect the electrical connector and then remove the fuel filter, to allow the alternator to come out of its housing: we will need to unscrew the bracket, remove the electrical contact and move it into a horizontal position, to create space for the passage of the piece, which we can now remove.
