How to replace the fuel filter on a Seat Ibiza 6L

To replace the fuel filter on a Seat Ibiza 6L, first, turn off the engine and work in a well-ventilated area, as fuel vapours are toxic. Open the fuel flap and unscrew the tank cap to relieve residual pressure. Lift the car with a jack or place it in a pit. Prepare a container to collect the fuel that will spill out. Locate the filter: on petrol engines, it is found underneath the car, near the tank or along the pipe (you can find it on Amazon with code B00BHHMK8A at a price of £29.01). Clean the fittings with a brush and a cleaning spray. Disconnect the fuel pipes by pressing the retaining clips with a flat screwdriver or a clip tool. Unscrew the filter's mounting bracket with a cross screwdriver. Remove the old filter and place it in the container. Install the new filter, respecting the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the filter itself. Reconnect the pipes and secure the clips. Reattach the bracket. Before starting, turn the ignition on and off several times to activate the fuel pump and fill the system. Start the engine, check for leaks, and let it run for a few minutes.
