Replacing Exhaust Manifold Gasket

During engine assembly, it is always advisable to use new gaskets and oil seals: for this purpose, there is a gasket set available commercially, known as the 'smeriglio series', which includes everything you need. Before inserting the new gasket, however, it is important to thoroughly clean its seating, both on the manifold side and the cylinder head side, to ensure it adheres perfectly; once cleaning is complete, insert the gasket aligning it with the dowel pins and taking care not to deform it, apply the manifold, washers, and securing nuts, tightening them with a torque wrench.
