Replacement of Valve Cover Gasket

Before applying the new gaskets, clean the respective seats thoroughly, removing any dirt and deposits; position the sealing rings on the heads of the fastening nuts of the camshaft; apply gasket sealant to the ends of the camshaft (in the radiused area), insert the gasket and then the corresponding cover with the rubber washers, the cover caps and finally tighten the fastening nuts with a torque wrench, proceeding gradually to ensure the gasket adheres evenly without protruding from the edges of the cover.
