Before applying the new gasket, ensure that the surfaces of both the manifold and the cylinder head are perfectly clean and free of deposits. Then insert the new gasket and the intake manifold, tightening the respective mounting studs with a torque wrench set to the appropriate specification, following a cross-tightening pattern to ensure perfect adherence of the gasket to the surfaces and to guarantee the seal: this is absolutely crucial for the proper functioning and power delivery of the engine.
