To replace the camshaft, the pulley must be disassembled and then the timing must be handled, with all that entails, replacement and then put back in phase. The belt will then have to be reassembled well, because if it is fitted with the wrong tension it can risk serious damage to the engine. Both pulleys and the belt are marked. The machine is put in neutral and by acting on the crankshaft pulley bolt, it is rotated until the marks match. If you want to facilitate this procedure, you can remove the candles. When removing the oil seal, remember to be careful not to damage the seat and to clean it well.
