How to Replace the Spark Plugs on a Seat Ibiza 6L

Learn how to replace the spark plugs on a Seat Ibiza 6L: open the bonnet and disconnect the PCV valve cable, then remove the engine cover; cover the throttle body with a cloth to prevent dirt ingress; unscrew and remove the oil filler tube, and also cover this filler hole with a cloth for the same reason. Unlock the coil connectors with a flat screwdriver, unscrew the earth terminal and remove the coils from the spark plug wells; disconnect the electrical connectors and clean the spark plug wells of dirt and debris. Unscrew the worn spark plugs, apply copper grease to the threads of the new plugs, and install them by hand, then tighten them with a torque wrench to 25 Nm. Clean the connectors with an electronic spray and reconnect them; refit the coils into the wells, secure the connectors, and screw in the earth terminal, reinstall the oil tube (removing the protective cloths) and refit the engine cover.
