Replacement of Valve Lifters

Model: Seat Ibiza 6K - Years 1993-2002

Before fitting the new valve lifters, generously lubricate their seats, then position the lifters and the new camshaft: the camshaft must also be lubricated before installation. Once the new camshaft is in place, lubricate the seats of the fixing brackets and fit them by tightening the fixing nuts with a calibrated torque wrench, following a cross-tightening pattern. Insert the camshaft oil seal, pressing it in until it is fully seated, then install the toothed pulley; align the timing marks and fit the timing belt.
