Today we will replace the propulsion button located under the gear knob of the Alfa Romeo 147; the use of the button is necessary to engage reverse gear. To remove the knob, simply pull upwards, keeping a firm hand on the base of the gear lever. Immediately after, remove the button clip and remove the base to extract the gear lever boot. Insert the new button inside the gear lever and cover it with the boot, insert the new knob and test its operation. These steps can also be carried out on the Alfa Romeo 146 and Alfa Romeo GT vehicles.
