How to Replace the Battery on an Alfa Romeo 166

Start by opening the bonnet. Next, remove the cover of the positive terminal located above the battery, and unscrew the bolt securing it. Repeat this step for the negative terminal. Once both terminals are removed, the battery will be secured in place only by the strap. To remove this strap, unscrew and remove the bolt located on the lower left side. Once done, you can extract the battery. Before setting it aside, you must finally remove the cover located on all four sides of the battery. Once this is done, to install the new battery, simply repeat the steps in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
