How to Replace the Rear Brake Pads on an Alfa Romeo 166

Before starting, lift the rear end of your Alfa Romeo 166. Begin by removing the rear wheel by unscrewing the fixing bolts. Next, unscrew and remove the bolts securing the brake caliper to the disc, then slightly move it away. Once done, retract the pistons using a flathead screwdriver, then fully move the brake caliper aside. At this point, disengage and remove the rear brake pads, completing the disassembly. To fit the new pads, follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
