Want to remove the gear gaiter on the Alfa Romeo GT? Let’s go through the disassembly of the parts. Detach the gaiter frame from the centre tunnel, then unclip the gaiter from beneath the knob (locking button). Remove the leather gaiter from the gear lever once everything is unlocked. Insert the new gaiter onto the gear lever: secure the clips above the centre tunnel. Fix the leather gaiter beneath the gear knob. Test the fitting of the parts mounted on the gear lever. Replace the gear knob if it is damaged or worn from the lever.
