We see in this guide the procedure necessary for the disassembly and replacement of the fuel pump or the floating pump of the Alfa Romeo 156 1.9 JTD. First we open the rear doors and start by removing the sofa, so as to be able to access the pump that we find below; after which we remove the cover and disconnect the electrical connector of the fuel level sensor, as shown in the video. At this point we also disconnect the diesel pipes and unscrew the ring nut to extract the pump from the tank; we just have to replace it with the new one!

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo
