In this guide, learn the procedure necessary to dismantle and replace the fuel pump or floating pump of the Alfa Romeo 156 1.9 JTD. First, open the rear doors and begin by removing the rear bench to access the pump located underneath; then remove the cover and disconnect the electrical connector of the fuel level sensor, as shown in the video. At this point, also disconnect the diesel pipes and unscrew the collar to extract the pump from the tank; all that remains is to replace it with the new one!
