How to Replace the Windscreen on the Alfa Romeo 147

To change the windscreen on the Alfa Romeo 147, you need to go to an authorised centre, which will carry out this procedure. First, locate the appropriate glass for the car, place it on a suitable support, and prepare it by cleaning it with a specific detergent. Surround the top part with the external aesthetic trim, and attach the rear-view mirror and suction cups to move the windscreen. Move to the car, where you will remove the wiper arms and the cover beneath the windscreen. Cut the external trim with a utility knife, and use a special wire to detach the glass by passing it around the entire perimeter. Use a special tool to remove the previous adhesive and clean the surface where the glass will go. Once the frame is prepared, apply an activator (to ensure the adhesive works properly). Moisten a paper towel with the activator and spread it around the edge of the glass and on the car. Now, you can apply the adhesive to the glass, take the glass, and position it on the car, securing it with adhesive tape. Finally, reattach the wiper arms and the cover beneath the windscreen. The car can be used one hour after positioning the glass.
