This video shows how to fix the boot of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta that won't open. The YouTuber identified the problem by opening the boot from the inside and then locating the electric impulse cables for the boot, which are found in a large flexible conduit at the top left of the boot when viewed from the rear of the vehicle.

Carefully removing the wires from the conduit reveals some severed cables, which can be quite normal due to the movement of the boot. Simply replacing or reconnecting them will restore proper function.
