To change the oil of an Aprilia RS 660, the first step is to slightly warm up the engine by leaving it running for a few minutes. This allows the oil to become more fluid, making it easier to completely drain it. Once the engine is turned off, place the motorcycle on a stable stand and position a container under the oil drain plug, located under the engine. Use a wrench to loosen the drain plug and let the oil flow out completely. Make sure to wait a few minutes for all the old oil to be removed. After the oil has stopped flowing, carefully clean the area around the drain plug to remove any residue and carefully tighten the plug, avoiding over-tightening it to avoid damaging the threads. Next, locate the oil fill plug and use a funnel to add the new oil, following the specifications indicated in the Aprilia RS 660 manual regarding the quantity and type of recommended oil. After pouring the oil, tighten the fill plug, start the engine, and let it run for a few minutes to allow the oil to circulate throughout the system. Check for any oil leaks and turn off the engine.
