To change the engine oil of a Piaggio Vespa GTV 300, follow these steps. First, ensure the scooter is on a flat surface and the engine is cold. Position a drip tray under the oil drain plug, usually located on the underside of the engine. Using an appropriate spanner, unscrew the oil drain plug and allow the used oil to drain completely into the drip tray. Once the draining is complete, unscrew and remove the oil filler cap on the top side of the engine. Using a funnel, slowly pour new engine oil into the oil filler. Check the oil level using the dipstick and add oil if necessary until the recommended level is reached. Ensure you use the recommended engine oil for your Piaggio Vespa GTV 300 model. Once the correct level is achieved, securely refit the oil filler cap. Finally, start the engine and check for any oil leaks. Make sure to dispose of the used oil properly at an authorised collection point.
