Today's guide shows you how to change the gear oil on the Aprilia Scarabeo 400 scooter. First, place the scooter on its centre stand and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the transmission cover, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the filler cap, removing the dipstick as shown in the video. At this point, top up with the correct new gear oil (in this case, 75W90); pour in the correct amount, equivalent to 250 ml of oil!
