Resetting the service light is necessary after performing maintenance operations, which usually include replacing fluids and filters, engine checks, and timing belt inspections. To reset the service light on an Audi A3, turn on the vehicle's instrument cluster and immediately press the right button located near the display.

From the general menu that appears, select "Oil Change" by rotating the same button, and press the OK button for about 5 seconds. Finish by turning off and then turning on the vehicle.
