The lack of a key means the inability to access the vehicle and start it when the remote is dead, but recent models contain an emergency key inside the remote to use in case of need. To access the 2020 Audi A3 vehicle, we must remove the top part of the remote to extract the emergency key inside it, insert the metal key into the lock, and press the button next to the lock to open the door.

To start the vehicle, insert the remote into the cup holder and start as usual.
