To replace the key fob battery for an Audi vehicle (this video demonstrates on an Audi TT), first, remove the key from its designated slot. Inside the key slot, there is a specific groove that allows you to use something like a pen to press and lift the small plastic cover protecting the battery and its compartment.

Once lifted, you can fully open the battery cover using a kitchen knife, for example. At this point, you have access to the battery and can replace it with a new one. To reassemble, simply follow the steps shown in the images in reverse order.
