How to replace the battery of an Audi A3?

To replace the battery of an Audi A3 key, start by having a new battery of the correct type, usually a CR2032. Hold the key in your hand and press the button to release the mechanical key, which is located inside the plastic part. Once extracted, you will see a small slot at the end of the key. Use a flat-head screwdriver or another small tool to gently pry and separate the two halves of the key. When the key opens, you will see the battery inside. Remove the old battery carefully, making sure not to bend or damage the metal contacts. Insert the new battery, making sure to position it with the positive pole (+) facing upwards, following the instructions inside the housing. After replacing the battery, close the key by pressing the two halves together until you hear a click confirming the closure. Finally, reposition the mechanical key in its place and check the correct operation of the remote control, making sure that the door opening and closing buttons respond normally.
